I need names for two characters....?

There both kind of Indie and from London. One is a girl who's in care, light brown/blonde hair. Not that that really makes a difference. I thought Madeline or Maddy for short? Any better suggestions? Nicknames would also be good. The other is a boy, who's father is abusive, black hair. Again doesn't really make much difference. I was thinking Samuel or Sam for short? Any better suggestions for him and/or nicknames? Last names optional. Thanks in advance. x
